 note '~', antonym-synonym-physical-biologic-geographic semiotics note II i gainsay many of the 'norse' etymons, in etymonline & the OED, since them here sunderd often thru old english dialects, & likely ain't bin under no 'norse' might, if not sum french. for further study, cf. bosworth-toller anglo-saxon dictionary. note III i's at last come to see that what we say to haf come from 'want', truly had come from 'wont', sinss, again, the writing can't sho us the word-start, but speech; furthermor, anywaes, 'wont' has a much longer time in english, while 'want' had always meant 'lack/need'.
